Pitch the press. Know what landed.

A curated press directory we keep fresh, pitches drafted in your label voice, and a record of who you pitched, who replied and what actually ran. Planned for Q4 2026: this page describes what we are building, not what you can switch on today.

Not built yet · the roadmap page tracks when it lands
01 · Why it exists

The press list is the oldest stale spreadsheet in the label.

Every independent label keeps one. A tab of writers, blogs, radio shows and playlist editors, half of them at addresses that stopped working two jobs ago. It gets copied from release to release, nobody knows which lines still land, and the only record of who was pitched last time is a search through sent mail.

Meanwhile the thing you actually want to know after a campaign is simple: who did we ask, who wrote back, and what ran. That answer lives nowhere.

02 · The surface

A directory we keep fresh, and a trail you can read.

Four pieces, sitting next to the release they belong to rather than in a separate tool. All of it planned for Q4 2026.

The directory planned

Writers, blogs, radio shows and playlist editors, kept current by us rather than by you, tagged by genre, territory and format so a shortlist is a filter and not an afternoon.

Pitches in your voice planned

The same voice model the rest of Labelflow already uses, drafting from the real release: title, catalogue number, release date, the private listening link. You approve every one before it goes.

Outreach tracking planned

Who was pitched, when, with which angle, and what came back. One row per contact per campaign, so the second release to the same outlet starts from what happened the first time.

The coverage record planned

What ran, where and when, logged against the release so the artist report writes itself and next year's list starts from evidence rather than memory.

03 · In practice

One campaign, from shortlist to what ran.

You build the shortlist. Filter the directory by genre, territory and format, drop in the contacts you already trust, and the campaign opens against the release with its dates already known.

Labelflow drafts, you approve. Every pitch comes out of the release data in your label voice, with the private listening page attached. Nothing sends without you saying so.

Replies land in one place. Who answered, who passed, who went quiet. Coverage gets logged as it appears, and the campaign closes with a report you can hand to the artist.

Promotion, the curator-campaign module that is live today, runs the same shape for playlists and DJ support. Press Outreach is the other half of the same job.

04 · Boundaries

What Press Outreach will not do.

The same AI policy as the rest of Labelflow, decided before the module exists rather than after somebody complains.

No scraped contact lists.

The directory is curated and maintained by us, with contacts who expect to be pitched. We do not harvest inboxes and resell them as reach.

No bulk sending without approval.

Pitches draft and queue. The send goes through you by default, and a campaign cannot quietly mail two hundred writers while you are asleep.

No invented coverage.

What ran is logged from what actually ran. No estimated reach, no scored likelihood of a placement, no numbers we cannot show you the source of.

No third-party model training.

Your contacts, your pitches, your replies. None of it becomes training data for somebody else's model, and none of it is sold on.

05 · Fit

For labels who work the press themselves.

If you hire a PR agency per release, this is not for you. If you do the pitching yourself, out of a spreadsheet, and you would like the list to be current and the follow-up to be visible, this is the module.

An add-on at €9 a month, on either plan, once it ships. Planned for Q4 2026. Nothing is charged for it before it is live, and the pricing page marks it as planned for exactly that reason.
